Answering your technical questions
Frequently asked questions
Details for plant directors, M&E managers and energy managers.
1. How much does the initial site survey cost?
Completely 100% free. BKET sends CEM engineers to the site for a general inspection and installs preliminary metering equipment to accurately determine savings potential and financial feasibility before you decide to sign a formal contract.
2. Will BKET’s measurement equipment stop the production line?
Absolutely no operational disruption. We use internationally standardized non-intrusive instruments: flexible Rogowski current clamps, high-resolution FLIR thermal imagers, ultrasonic compressed air leak detectors and clamp-on flow meters. Your plant continues production as normal.
3. How long do the measurements and final report take?
On-site measurement takes 2 – 3 working days (covering both day and night shifts to capture base load). After the data is extracted and processed through calculation models, the complete technical report with ROI investment analysis is delivered within 7 – 14 days.
4. Does BKET guarantee actual savings (ESCO model)?
Yes. For EPC or ESCO projects, BKET guarantees actual energy performance in a written contract. Acceptance is based entirely on objective measurement data using the international IPMVP method (International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol).
